Teaching
Being an effective teacher is not only useful for your students, but can be incredibly fulfilling on a personal level. It also has the added bonus of strengthening your job application and consolidating your knowledge.

How do I get involved in teaching?
You don't have to be a University lecturer to do some teaching. Simple, informal teaching of students on the medical wards is a useful place to start, but if you want to gain credit for teaching in your job application, a more formal approach might be necessary.

You might wish to consider developing a teaching programme, identifying your target audience, advertising your course, determining the best method of delivering your learning and collecting feedback from your learners, both to improve your teaching in the future and as evidence of your work.
